Orthodontics for children
An early examination at the age 7-8 years allows us to determine the best time to start the orthodontic treatment. In some cases, early treatment achieves results that are not possible once the face and jaws have finished growing.
Several problems normally wait until a child has reached their puberal growth spurt, but each child is different.
Removeable appliances are working together with your growth to get more space in case of crowded teeth or to regulate growing of face and jaws in the right direction.
Fixed appliances (braces) are able to regulate the position of your teeth perfectly and to make special movements which are not possible with removeable appliances. In this cases growth is often necessary to get better results in bite and profile.
Orthodontics for adults
Orthodontic treatment of adults is still possible. We work together to find best solutions for you and your individual case in a special schedule where you can ask whatever you want and tell us your personal wishes.
We will look at both your health and your teeth and, according to your condition, apply different possibilities of treatement (removeable or fixed appliances). We will recommend esthetical braces for a nearly “invisible" treatment, so you will feel comfortable and relaxed the whole time of therapy.

Appliances
In the orthodontic treatment, we differentiate between removable appliances (loose braces) or fixed appliances (fixed braces). Depending on the treatment, we decide which of the devices is the right choice for a successful correction of your tooth positions.

Costs of treatment vary for each individual case and are based on severity of the problem, age of patient and time of treatment.
Our office is a “fee for service" practice and does accept payment by any dental insurance company. For our patients who have traditional orthodontic insurance, me and our experienced staff will gladly find the right solution for you and your orthodontic treatment. The payment by your insurance company depends on the conditions by public law, the conditions in your contract with your insurance company and the kind of your insurance (puplic insurance companies / private insurance companies).
We believe in providing services in the best interest of all of our patients and do not allow insurance companies to dictate our treatment procedures.

Aesthetic brackets
We offer state-of-the-art Aesthetic Bracket Systems from the United States when used with fixed equipment (Multiband), which seem to make a “solid braces" almost “invisible".
Transparent Inspire Ice Brackets
Aesthetic Inspire Ice brackets made of transparent artificial sapphires (transparent “clear" brackets) are attached to the teeth in the visible area of the upper dental arch. These special brackets from the USA also meet the high aesthetic demands of a multi-band treatment.
Tooth colored fiberglass brackets
Aesthetic fiberglass brackets (tooth-colored “white" brackets) are attached to the teeth in the visible area of the lower dental arch. These special braces from the USA can also be used with pronounced deep bites without the risk of damaging the teeth of the upper dental arch.

Our Office Policies
We try our best to schedule our patients in a way they are not kept waiting and to allow sufficient time and attention necessary for the highest quality of care. To accomplish this, it is unrealistic to assume that appointments will always avoid conflict with an individual´s school or work schedule. Be assured that we will make every effort to be equitable in sharing “prime time" appointments.
